By now, I would think that your answers would no, a definite no, right? Mr. Trump is trying to fix the image that he created from the debate that he is bigger than GOP and that he can survive without GOP and his comments on the pledge signing is really contradictory from what he said from his previous campaigns. Remember he used to say and I quote, "If you look at the statistics of people coming, you look at the statistics on rape, on crime, on everything coming in illegally into this country it's mind-boggling!", he was talking specifically about Mexicans at the time of the interview but on the Pledge signing, he said that United States strives on bringing more and more people to United States giving them the permission to work in all fifty states, I mean, what was he on when he said that? I think someone is coaching him not to be an asshole on TV and this is just a face-saving gesture to build a new image of the New Trump, the new friendly, loving Trump which we know just by seeing the YouTube video that it's all just a facade to hide his true nature, the true Donald Trump that we love and hate all in the same time.
The end of the Q&A with the press is what baffled me the most, at the end of the Pledge Signing, Trump was about to leave the podium, he was about to leave the scene when he encountered a short man and then he brought the short man onto the spotlight of the media and introduced him. Lo and behold it was Setya Novanto, Indonesia's Speaker of the House of Representative, he's the Speaker of my country, Indonesia or in Indonesia's term he's our head of the House of Representative. So, Trump brought him up and asked him, "Do they like me in Indonesia?" which Setya answered, awkwardly, "Yes." For me and I'm just saying out of my own opinion, but Trump was trying to give an example that he is lenient to any race and country, saying that this man is amazing but how would you know that Setya Novanto is amazing or not, you can't even pronounce his name correctly and you had to look at a sheet of paper to remember, yeah, I saw the paper, Trump.
Honestly, Trump making the pledge isn't a problem at all for me, I mean, who gives a what-what about the pledge anyway but the appearance of Setya Novanto and his vice-head, Fadli Zon in the video, directly behind Trump the whole entirety of the video really gets me going. I know that you're on a study trip or whatever you're doing out there in New York, a trip that costs Indonesian around 4.6 billion rupiahs or around 300 grand or more but you can't be seen in a video seemingly supporting a Presidential Candidate, that's really unethical for a Head of Representative of a country to be seen in a political campaign of a Presidential Candidate from another country although it was just a press conference, I know but do you honestly believe it was just a simple press conference, I don't think so, it was clearly a campaign and no matter how you want to put, saying that you have Eastern way of life and had to be polite when Trump invited to stood behind him, you just don't do that. Trump just played you for his benefit and made you and Indonesian look like a joke. I'm sorry to say but when you stand behind a presidential candidate that would suggest that you are behind the candidate and that you support the guy.
Honestly, America! I love you to death but Trump? I really hope Hillary wins, I admire Donald as a businessman but not as a President or in this matter, a Presidential Candidate.
