So my point in this entry is to comment on Bugatti Veyron's design, to get straight to the point, it's not very good. Again, I'm not bashing on Bugatti's design like I did with Huracan and Asterion in my previous entry but when I'm thinking about buying a whopping W16 engine with 1200 horsepower, you can't expect to latch that engine into a Beetle copycat. You have to admit that Bugatti Veyron's design is a little bit bulky and kinda bubblish, c'mon admit it! People all around the world said that the Veyron's design is a perfect blend between luxury and sporty but that is total bullshit to be frank, because you can't expect to mold those thing together, for instance, you can't look at a Rolls Royce Wraith and say, "oh, that is some cool sports car", Rolls Royce have always associated them selves with luxury rather than sport, another example would be a Bentley GT Continental, you see where I'm going with this, right? Bentley GT Continental is great car with its V8 engine but when you look at it, it doesn't scream sport more than elegant and suave.
The only car that I can put inside the luxury-sport line is an Aston Martin, I know their horsepowers are under the current hybrids around, like the Koenigsegg Regera (have you seen this car, this car is epic, hands down and it has no gear) but the new Aston Martin DB10 is a scintillating blend of class and crass in one pod.
I'm getting way off topic here, see, I think the problem is that Bugatti didn't know what their mission at first when they built the Veyron, I know I'm just a civilian and don't know anything about car design but here me out, now that they know what the Veyron is all about which is mind-blowing speed, I think they should re-design Veyron's look for the next car, much like McLaren did with 650S. I hated the MP4-12C, not because of their performance but of their look, specifically their front end, it was just too stock of a car but the 650S, oh my god, that car made me almost switch allegiance from Lamborghini to McLaren when I saw the comparison of 650S and Huracan on Top Gear.
That is what Bugatti needs to do, for me anyways. What do you think? Do Bugatti need a facelift on their Veyron?
