When I watched Jurassic World, I was excited, I felt nostalgic when I heard the original Jurassic Park's theme song in this movie, that song took me back when I first saw the original movie, how scared I was to see the T-Rex chasing those two little kids and the scene with the Velociraptors in the kitchen only by hearing that theme song and in the same time, Jurassic World is moving forward with the introduction of Indominus Rex and Owen Grady as the 'Raptor Whisperer' and who would've thought I would root for the old school dinosaurs when Indominus Rex was 'gangbanged' by the T-Rex, Blue and that sea dinosaur, I forgot the name of that beast - the point is I love the new Jurassic Park/World movie even though it had the same plot as the original movie, it's like remaking the original but creating something new in the process with an homage to the first movie, going with the time sort of things.
In the case of Terminator: Genisys, it's like watching the future ripping apart the memory of the two original movies, it completely ruined Terminator for me. I grew up watching Arnold Schwarzenegger fighting Robert Patrick as the T-1000, I mean my God at that time, the visual effect in creating the liquid robot was flabbergasting, it was fucking awesome but in this movie they replaced Robert Patrick with Lee Byung-Hun, I mean, Come On! You created young Arnold for the early scene of this movie but you couldn't even bother to create a young CGI Robert Patrick with the guy from G.I. Joe? Are you fucking kidding me?! That's strike one for me.
The second thing that bothered me was John Connor, John Connor was supposed to be good, John Connor was supposed to be a hero, I'm not gonna say this but I like Christian Bale as John Connor but in this movie you, the movie crew, the director, the screenwriter, you took a fucking cult hero and turned him into a villain, if you're plan was to destroy Terminator for us then you succeeded! Indubitably! In this movie John Connor is a Terminator sent back through times to kill Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese because John was infected by a Terminator virus by a real-life SkyNet/Genisys played by the former Doctor Who, Matt Smith.
The biggest crime you could ever done was destroying the timeline, the first and second Terminator movies are classic, you could ask anyone who lived in the 80s and 90s and they would probably say Terminator is a classic but in this movie , the old T-800 a.k.a. Pops came long before the first movie plot in the 80s and saved little Sarah Connor, essentially deleting the events in the four Terminator movies, I know you're trying to make this franchise run but by deleting the timeline of the first two movies, you managed to delete the Terminator fan base also. Well done!
This is what I can't support time travel movie, I mean if it's like X-Men: Days of Future Past which was done great completely changing the events of the first X-Men Trilogy which was good but I like the X-Men First Class Trilogy better but this Terminator done it all wrong, there's only one simple rule, DO NOT FUCK WITH THE CLASSIC!
I bet if Rose travels through time and warns the Titanic captain to not hit the iceberg, you wouldn't like, now would you?!
Terminator: Genisys won't get any of my thumbs or any of my fingers to go up, that's for sure!
