First of all, Glenn's death at the hands of Negan or should I say, at the bat of Negan is truly iconic in the comic-verse of The Walking Dead and the producers had been hinting at 'the bashing' by having Glenn carrying a bat while the group were in Noah's home and on their way to Washington and Alexandria, so why would they kill one of their best characters so simple and so ridiculous when they can create like the best death scene ever apart from the Red Wedding, of course.
Secondly, we all know that Glenn is very hard to kill, the evidences have stacked up season after season, like the first season, Glenn and Rick walking amongst the Walkers using Walker's blood and gut on their coats, when he fell in Hershel's well with a bloated Walker inside, when he survived the flu epidemic at the prison, when he was trapped all alone with hordes of Walkers after the Governor's second visit and also, Terminus. Those are the testament of how Glenn cheated deaths several times to what I believe a set up for Negan eventually killing Glenn in front of Maggie with the customized bat.
There are also hints in the death scene alone that can make us question Glenn "so-called-death". The death scene was 10 minutes before the end, now that is very unusual for The Walking Dead placing a big death scene at that stature because usually they always keep the massive deaths right at the very end. When Nicholas shot himself and drooped himself onto Glenn, we didn't get to see where did Nicholas' body landed and when the Walkers munching on what supposed to be Glenn's intestines, there was something tremendously odd about the angle of or should I say, the height of Glenn's chest because from my perspective, the chest was too high to be Glenn's, so we might assume that those intestines were Nicholas' because his body was landed on top of Glenn's, ergo, those intestines that were munched by the Walkers were in fact, Nicholas'. One more giveaway was the body itself, why didn't they do a wide shot to reveal Glenn's mangled stomach or even one of the Walkers eating Glenn's face instead of they pulled a wide shot of the Walkers already swarming both Nicholas and Glenn without giving a clear cut sign whether Glenn is dead or not and I found this picture on the internet and in Twitter that Glenn is still hanging around the set after the episode, maybe he becomes a Walker or the obvious reason, he survived the ordeal, yet again.
What do you say? Is Glenn really dead or is he still much alive?
